Update- Daily Blog Challenge, Finally an announcement
So if you follow this blog in any capacity, you know I do daily posts. You also probably know I havent been doing it regularly. I’ve talked about this once, and I’m still having trouble with it.
A. I’ve been sick all this week. It’s just a running nose, sore throat, and cough. With the occasional headache. I do not take medicine for anything that wont kill me, so I’m naturally fighting it with water and sleep. Which takes time.
Also, I had a three page paper due and a test. Albeit, these are not hard, but the study and prep time take time away from the blog.
I’m happy to say I shuld get a top five out today for favorite Majora’s Mask mask. So if that interest you, stay tune!
I’ve talked about it before, but I’ll mention it again because it is relevant. I started this blog with the hopes of creating a safe and healthy environment for lovers of anime/manga/video game/etc to come together, to meet and discuss interests. I’m proud to say I took the next step today. I made a forum.
Here we have topics like “Suggest a manga to everyone” or “What anime are you currently watching” I’m open to suggestions and I really want to turn this into a hangout spot for everyone.
When I was Freshman in High School, I took part in a forum that changed my life. It was a pokemon forum and I made awesome friends. Unfortunately, those people(Myself included) all took a break from it and we failed to stay in touch. But that truly made my summer incredible. I was an introvert and did not have real good friends in school yet(that changed my junior year). But this was a big stepping stone into helping me grow out of some of those problems. I would love to give back to a community, the way a community gave to me.
Please do not hesitate to check it out, make suggestions, and tell your friends. Of course it is small now, but we can make it grow!

100th Post
Today were not doing Daily Post Challenge. Instead, I’m making a simple post. This will be my 100th post on DaHubbz.
This channel is not huge in any sense of the word, however, the regulars that have flocked to my post have been truly great.
Some people comment.
Some people give likes.
Some people simply read.
But regardless that means a lot to me.
I started back in June(July?) with the sole intent of meeting people to chat about Pokemon and Anime. And that’s what I’ve done. I look forward to logging in every day to chat with cool people.
January was our biggest month. Post everyday was challenging with school, but I’m glad I stuck with it.
I thought that would be the biggest thing I did on this account, but I have a project coming up that I hope you guys will enjoy.
I’m still learning to be a good blogger. I’m still developing my own personality and style. I’m still working on networking and meeting new people.(I rarely comment on stuff. I gotta change that this year).
Anyway, I hope you guys have enjoyed the content so far. I’m open to reviewing any anime or manga. Follow me on here and get involved with the content. Follow me on twitter and let’s chat.

My Life as a Teacher 1/30/16 and Daily Blog Update
So, yesterday I did my first day of subbing. It was not bad at all. Just really, really boring. The teacher I subbed left the students 5 work sheets to do over the course of the hour and a half class. Only the students had already done 3, and they knocked the other two out within 20-30 minutes. This resulted in a boring but easy day. I let the students speak quietly among themselves or listen to music or play games on their phone. It was a Friday and everyone was looking forward to weekend like they were Rebecca Black in that joint. I was already offered to sub again Monday I just have to confirm it.
Right when I got off, my girlfriend and I began babysitting until 12:30am. After that I had homework to do. This is why no Daily Blog went up yesterday. I passed out after homework. I’ll try to do two today to make up for it.
I subbed 10th grade biology for one block and 11th grade U.S. History. My spot Monday would be English as long as it’s still open
My Life as a Teacher Update
So if you’ve read any of my other post from this topic, you know I’ve been trying and waiting patiently to become a substitute teacher. I did not check what day I put the other post up but I think it was near August. I finally got a call back from my county in December. I missed getting to start by a few days(Winter Break started). So, I got everything turned in first thing in January. This Tuesday, I finally got a call back for an interview. That interview was today, and I am very proud to announce that I should start subbing very soon. She said as early as tomorrow, but we will see about that.
I will more than likely make a post about my first day subbing, whenever that may be. If you are interested in becoming a teacher or a sub, I’d love to hear your story and offer any advice I can(I’m studying education in college).
Anyway, this will probably be the inspiration to today’s daily post, so make you check back later today for that!
January 1st! A New Year Update
Here we are! The first day of the year. The first blog of the year. The first update of the year. Honestly, I am super excited for this year. Why? Were trying something new here. I don’t want to call it a daily blog. No, it’s more of a challenge. Were going to do a 30 day challenges(Some months 28, some months 31). Each month will have it’s own theme. This month will be Pokemon. It’s one of my favorite topics and generally gets some response in the comment section when I do a pokemon post. So January 2nd through the 31st will be a daily post about pokemon. February will be the same style just a new theme.
I’ll try to keep Manga Mondays, Anime Reviews, Top Fives and Miscellaneous Reviews coming on a normal basis.
My school is starting back up and it should not interfere with the daily blog, but it might slow some of the other stuff down. I should also be starting my first semester as substitute this month.
Anyway, I know this is coming out on the 2nd EST. A late Christmas party had me out all day. Anyway, expect a new post later this day!

This is first in a small little series of updates with some pretty big news coming the closer we get to my birthday(November 23rd) and the new years! I picked up Neon Genesis Evangelion and will read it throughout this week and be ready to talk about it Monday. Yes, MANGA MONDAY(This link and the rest just lead you to their respective catergories on my blog) IS BACK
I got another test tomorrow(They just keep coming). I’ll also try to work on some more Magic Monday so we can get that going again. Still no word on when I might testify, but I might have news regarding a new job, which hopefully means we can get reviews up more often! I am still trying to get caught up on fall animes(Though I have no idea on what I want to even watch this season so suggestions would be great!). I will also try to get some more top 5’s going.
Tomorrow I will give a shout out to all the awarenesses for the month of November
I am slowly but surely getting back into the swing of things. Things keep coming up that keep derailing my momentum.

October Update
Hey guys.
Hoping to get back to posting regularly starting November. Ive been preparing for some things Ive got going on this week. For one, I have test this week Secondly, I’ve been subpoenaed to court(that could be anytime between Monday through Friday. P.S. I am witness, I am not the one on trial.). And I’m still trying to get job interviews as well.
Due to that last note, I don’t currently have money of my own, so I have not been able to purchase mangas or anything of that nature.
I did get Yoshi’s Woolly World though. The first week of November I am hoping to showcase it. I am also planning on highlighting some of the new animes. And of course, We’ll give a shout out to all the awareness’s for November.
So that’s upcoming at the start of next month! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Manga Monday will be up tomorrow! Time has totally gotten away from me today. I will be reviewing Noragami Vol 1 tomorrow. So be on the look out for it tomorrow!

Life Update: Heading into September.
Hey guys. Nothing too exciting this weekend. I was busy and forgot it was even Friday yesterday, so there was no top five. I have a couple planned though, just got to sit down and type them up.
Anyway, September is next Tuesday. I’m going to try to make it my most productive month of blogging yet. I’m hoping to put out 4 Top Fives, 2 Manga Monday’s, 1 Trip Down Memory Lane, start Comic Book Reviews, And put out a ton of anime reviews.
I’m also going to start substitute teaching classes and job shadowing, so I might blog about that process and other aspects of college if there are people interested in that.
I am also hoping to launch two new projects(Separate from the blog). If they go as planned, I’ll have one in September and one hopefully by next year.
Lastly, does the new Home page layout make it easier to Navigate and make the site look neater? Any feedback would be nice.
